Survival Strategies..!!
This had not happened in the past. The heat was never as much as this at any point of time in my life of 23 years. I went back into my room feeling the urgency of the situation. And things were again in to control, in the conditioned atmosphere. I lied on the bed and kept thinking why situations had become such worse. We had once studied in the college times in Thermodynamics that the atmosphere was supposed to be the sink, an endless one where there were no barriers for energy storage. But, with such changes in the climatic conditions. I seriously feel that there should be a change in the methodology. With the advent of technology, more and more energy transactions being made, the world would not be the same place to live in after some years.
Surely a time will come when the temperatures outside would rise up to 60 or so and we will not have enough space to live and enough water to drink.
Will we realize the intensity of the situation when that happens to us?
I seriously feel that something should be done as soon as possible..!!

Warmer than the warmth..

The only thing I want is to remove this cognitive prejudice out of our abandoned minds.
This issue has gained increasing attention in the very recent times, but the way I perceive it, there have been no breath taking precautions or measures taken as such, which have the capability of creating a WOW..!!
We have people like Menaka Gandhi who have come out of this so called prejudice and have directed the thoughts of people towards crime with animals.
What we want is a similar step ahead for Global warming. There should be a governing body which actually carries out new researches on reducing global warming. With ever increasing management tools and methods gaining popularity there can be many such tools that can be applied in order to drive organizations to carry out the changes in their methodology such that there is an ever decreasing trend of processes that have a direct consequence of increasing the global warming. There should be companies who should come out and start helping people in order to make them and their processes more focused towards the environment.
Business is all what we do, in whatever we do. Can’t there be business opportunities derived from the Global warming perspective such that there is business and the outcome is a significant quantitative decrease in the factors that increase this whole phenomenon.
The answer remains a YES… But when will we do it?
What makes us wait for so long?
Then we have our honorable politicians who talk about giving money to the people and gain votes. Name one politician who even talks about taking appropriate steps to decrease this phenomenon?
Some one said, “Be the change you want to see”. Well I used to believe in it…
But time has changed. We talk about team work. We always said, “United we stand, divided we fall.” Why?
Just to make everyone know that when we want a change, we should come up in large numbers to be that change. Being the change does not make an impression.
This is all I can say and wish that we vote out some people out of our community who really are able to make some difference.
May God Bless each one of us..!!

The saga of the low cost airlines..!!

We have just come and sit here in the Spice jet flight to Pune via New Delhi. Since we are two unlucky god damned Assistant Managers and therefore do not have the privilege of traveling in executive class airlines and also want to sit together and are traveling to Pune via the longest route possible, we have been allotted the last two seats of the aircraft which have the luxury of not being pushed back for comfort and also the front seats who have the full luxury of being pushed back such that they rest on our faces. To add to the comfort the temperature here inside the plane must be around 45 degrees Celsius. The Air conditioner is not working since the plane had its doors open since the past 45 minutes. It is a normal size Boeing 737 aircraft. 216 passengers have been filled in like chickens in the poultry farms. The thick make up from the faces of the beautiful crew members or the so called “Air hostesses” is dropping down with sweat and bringing out their trueness. There is a very thin passage or the aisle, which begins just where my shoulders are and therefore anyone who passes by has to push it once, the most frequent although are the crew members. I was just happy to begin such a wonderful comfortable journey when just now I heard that there is no water available on the flight, so we have to wait till we reach Delhi.
And now there came an announcement which says that it is the captain of the machine and he has welcomed us on board and believes that the passengers are enjoying the flight and is sorry for the delay in the take off since the plain would first taxi on the runway to reach the new runway from which it is scheduled to take off.
Anyways, its now after 5 hours, 10:30 pm, we have reached Pune airport.
I am too tired, can’t write anymore....
Bye…till we meet again..!!
